  21. These are all possible points in the menu. Normally you only see the points
  22. which you can execute because of your user level or which make sense for the
  23. current action.

  25. In the following you find an exact description of the several commands:
  26.  
  27. CC = Change Computer       With this command you can change your statements
  28.                            concerning your computer equipment. It serves to
  29.                            inform the sysop.
  30.  
  31. CE = Change Emulation      Here you can set the display of your monitor. Using
  32.                            TTY your display is monochrom without color and font
  33.                            attributes. Using VT100/ANSI all color and font
  34.                            attributes are possible. If you have CLS activated,
  35.                            the screen will be cleared after each full page.
  36.                            This would be recommendable on slow computers
  37.                            because the screen speed will be increased. If you
  38.                            have made no setup the default mode is TTY.

  40. CF = Change List Form      With this command you can choose one of 18 different
  41.                            list forms which will be automatically proposed on
  42.                            each list. Never the less the proposal can be
  43.                            changed on each individual list.

  45. CH = Change HelpText       With this command you can change the type of help
  46.                            text. The help text is either not shown on the input
  47.                            line or as a combination of letters or as full menu.
  48.                            Even if the help text is off or as combination of
  49.                            letters you can call the full menu by pressing
  50.                            enter. If you don`t have made a setup the full help
  51.                            text will be displayed.

  53. CL = Change Lines          Here you can insert the number of lines on the
  54.                            screen. If the file listing has more than the de-
  55.                            fined lines you will be asked "More [Y/n] : ".
  56.                            If you don`t have a number defined the default value
  57.                            is 23 lines.

  59. CM = Change Modem          With this command you can change your settings
  60.                            concerning the modem type and speed. It serves to
  61.                            inform the sysop.

  63. CP = Change Password       This command allows you to change your password.
  64.                            You will be requested to insert a password, your
  65.                            former password will be shown.
  66.  
  67. CS = Chat SysOp            This function makes a bell ringing on the BBS host
  68.                            to call the sysop. If the sysop is ready you find
  69.                            yourself in the chat mode. If the sysop is not
  70.                            available you get a message. Now you can leave a
  71.                            private mail to him (sysop user number 5).

  73. CT = Change Transfer       With this command you define the transfer protocol
  74.                            for up- and downloads. After you have entered CT
  75.                            all possible upload protocols will be listed. When
  76.                            you have entered the respective number the protocols
  77.                            for downloads will be listed in the same way. If you
  78.                            don`t have made any setups no up- and downloads will
  79.                            be executed.

  81. CU = Change Comment User   With this command you can give the sysop further
  82.                            information e.g. at home at 8 o´clock p.m., call
  83.                            before sending a fax and so on.

  85. MM = Main Menu             With this command you can get back from this board
  86.                            to the main menu.

  88. SS = Show Setup            With this function you can display all your personal
  89.                            data which you have inserted at Join as a Member,
  90.                            the number of lines, the emulation, the type of help
  91.                            text, list form and the transfer protocols for up-
  92.                            and download.
